Describe in general, the proposed activity, and if applicable, any equipment that will be used. Include an illustration showing planned development, including structures, utilities and roads at an appropriate scale, in relation to the proposed use area.

Describe in general, the proposed access route, including existing trails or roads to be used, and new road necessary if any, crossing Trust land.

The applicant is responsible for determining whether the proposed use complies with applicable laws, regulations and local government ordinances. If the use is authorized, the applicant will secure all necessary permits and authorizations prior to conducting any activity on Trust land.

  • The Executive Director of the Trust Land Office may accept, adjudicate or reject an application for any action on trust land at any time. The acceptance of an application or expression of interest vests no rights in an applicant or third party (11 AAC 99.030).
  • Use or disposal of trust land or trust land interest will not be allowed if inconsistent with trust management principles provided for in 11 AAC 99.020, including, to maximize revenues, protect and enhance value, encourage diversity, etc.
  • Information in this application is made a part of the state public land records and becomes public information under AS 40.25.110 and 40.25.120 (unless the information qualifies for confidentiality under 11 AAC 99.120 and confidentially is requested in writing). Public information is open to inspection by you or any member of the public.
  • False statements made in an application for a benefit are punishable under AS 11.56.210.
  • In submitting this form, you agree with the Trust Land Office to use “electronic” means to conduct “transactions” (as those terms are used in the Uniform Electronic Transactions Act, AS 09.80.010 - AS 09.80.195) that relate to this form and that the Department need not retain the original paper form of this record: the department may retain this record as an electronic record and destroy the original.
